Beim Pferd wirken bereits sehr geringe Fumonisin-Konzentrationen von ca. 5 \u2013 10 mg\/kg im Futter neurotoxisch. Bei Schweinen f\u00fchrt die Aufnahme von 4 \u2013 16 mg\/kg K\u00f6rpergewicht zu Leberzirrhose und ab 16 mg\/kg K\u00f6rpergewicht zu pulmon\u00e4ren \u00d6demen. H\u00fchnerk\u00fcken und Jungmasth\u00e4hnchen reagieren hingegen erst auf eine h\u00f6here Konzentration ab 75 mg\/kg Fumonisin im Futter.
