Los moluscos tambi\u00e9n se deben especificar como ingrediente en Sur\u00e1frica. Las alergias al marisco son muy frecuentes, aunque su prevalencia var\u00eda significativamente dependiendo de la regi\u00f3n: Afecta con m\u00e1s frecuencia a la poblaci\u00f3n de las regiones costeras (donde se consume marisco con mayor frecuencia) que a la poblaci\u00f3n de las zonas interiores. La efectividad de la limpieza del sistema de producci\u00f3n se puede comprobar mediante un hisopado de flujo lateral y los alimentos se pueden analizar mediante ensayos ELISA y PCR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Moluscos<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>El g\u00e9nero de los moluscos (mollusca) comprende a animales como los mejillones, los caracoles y los cefal\u00f3podos (sepia, calamar). Los moluscos como mejillones, ostras o pulpos son un plato especialmente popular en las regiones costeras. Sin embargo, algunas personas sufren reacciones al\u00e9rgicas tras su consumo.
