De acuerdo con la normativa del Consejo de Ministros de la Uni\u00f3n Europea (UE), normativa para etiquetado de nuevos alimentos: N.\u00ba de decisi\u00f3n 1139\/98\/CE. Adem\u00e1s, la directiva de la UE 1829\/2003, que entr\u00f3 en vigor en abril de 2004, determina un valor umbral de etiquetado del 0,9&nbsp;% en la UE para alimentos y piensos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Detecci\u00f3n cualitativa de GMO<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>De acuerdo con la normativa nacional o regional, se aplican unos niveles de tolerancia cero a los eventos de GMO no aprobados. De ah\u00ed que, por el momento, solo se consideren de inter\u00e9s los an\u00e1lisis cualitativos en estos productos. El l\u00edmite de detecci\u00f3n se encuentra en el 0,01&nbsp;%, dependiendo de la matriz y la aplicaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La regulaci\u00f3n CE 619\/2011 es una normativa especial para piensos. Siempre que se cumplan ciertas condiciones (caducidad de la aprobaci\u00f3n de la UE, aprobaci\u00f3n en el pa\u00eds de origen, disponibilidad de ensayos y material de referencia, etc.), se aplicar\u00e1 un valor umbral t\u00e9cnico del 0,1&nbsp;% para eventos de GMO no aprobados. Esto es particularmente importante en las importaciones de ma\u00edz y soja con y sin GMO, no siempre libres de contaminaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Detecci\u00f3n cuantitativa de GMO<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>En los eventos de GMO aprobados respectivamente, existe la pregunta cuantitativa de si el producto supera los valores umbral definidos o los valores de etiquetado obligatorios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En Europa, se aplica un valor del 0,9&nbsp;% al evento de GMO en la matriz vegetal respectiva. Por debajo de este valor, no es necesario declarar productos alimentarios con contaminaciones casuales o t\u00e9cnicamente inevitables de eventos de GMO (CE 2829\/2003 y EC2830\/CE). La cuantificaci\u00f3n se consigue a trav\u00e9s de la cuantificaci\u00f3n respectiva de un gen espec\u00edfico de GMO y un gen espec\u00edfico de matriz vegetal de acuerdo con una curva de calibraci\u00f3n diferente en ambos casos, y la conversi\u00f3n al n\u00famero de copias de ADN de GMO\/matriz vegetal. Al multiplicar esta unidad adimensional por 100 se obtiene como resultado el valor de porcentaje. La curva de calibraci\u00f3n se obtiene mediante la diluci\u00f3n de un est\u00e1ndar de ADN y, de acuerdo con un material de GMO definido, tambi\u00e9n se puede especificar de forma precisa con un factor de correcci\u00f3n experimental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cribado de GMO<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>El cribado de secuencias de genes extr\u00ednsecas a la planta infiltradas en ella durante el desarrollo del GMO proporciona una evidencia eficiente de la presencia de posibles GMO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las secuencias gen\u00e9ticas utilizadas habitualmente son las siguientes:<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"acf-block block-tabs block-\"><div class=\"block-tabs__menu\"><button onclick=\"openTab(event, 'tab--1',  'block-')\" class=\"block-tabs__title active \">35S<\/button><button onclick=\"openTab(event, 'tab--2',  'block-')\" class=\"block-tabs__title  \">NOS<\/button><button onclick=\"openTab(event, 'tab--3',  'block-')\" class=\"block-tabs__title  \">FMV<\/button><button onclick=\"openTab(event, 'tab--4',  'block-')\" class=\"block-tabs__title  \">BAR<\/button><button onclick=\"openTab(event, 'tab--5',  'block-')\" class=\"block-tabs__title  \">CTP2:CTP4 EPSPS<\/button><\/div><div class=\"block-tabs__area\"><div class=\"block-tabs__content active tab--1\"><p>This promoter, made from the cauliflower mosaic virus, is the most frequently used element. Plant samples that are only 35S positive can also be contaminated with the naturally occurring virus. False positive results can be ruled out by using the virus-specific CaMV (S2027) test.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"block-tabs__content  tab--2\"><p>The Nopalin Synthase Terminator (NOS) from Agrobacterium tumefaciens is often but not exclusively used in combination with 35S.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"block-tabs__content  tab--3\"><p>In lieu of 35S, the figwort mosaic virus promoter can also be used in GMOs.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"block-tabs__content  tab--4\"><p>The gene for phosphinotricin-N-acetyltransferase from Streptomyces hygroscopicus can enable a resistance against the herbicide glufosinate that is available under several different brand names.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"block-tabs__content  tab--5\"><p>This sequence denotes the transition from chloroplast transit peptide to 5-enolpyruvylshikimate-3-phosphate synthase from Arabidopsis thaliana and Agrobacterium spp. It enables a resistance against the herbicide glyphosate.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Estos y otros par\u00e1metros se pueden combinar de forma modular o bien utilizar por separado.
