Adopt\u00e9e en avril 2004, la directive europ\u00e9enne 1829\/2003 fixe par ailleurs la valeur seuil, devant figurer sur l\u2019\u00e9tiquette, \u00e0 0,9&nbsp;%, pour l\u2019alimentation humaine et animale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">D\u00e9tection qualitative des OGM<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Selon les r\u00e9glementations nationales ou r\u00e9gionales, une tol\u00e9rance z\u00e9ro est applicable aux \u00e9v\u00e9nements OGM non approuv\u00e9s. \u00c0 ce titre et \u00e0 l\u2019heure actuelle, les tests qualitatifs sont les seuls \u00e0 pr\u00e9senter un int\u00e9r\u00eat pour ces produits. La limite de d\u00e9tection est fix\u00e9e \u00e0 0,01&nbsp;%, en fonction de la matrice et de l\u2019application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le r\u00e8glement CE 619\/2011 est sp\u00e9cialement pr\u00e9vu pour l\u2019alimentation animale. Sous r\u00e9serve que certaines conditions soient remplies (approbation de l\u2019UE arriv\u00e9e \u00e0 expiration, approbation dans le pays d\u2019origine, disponibilit\u00e9 des tests et de mat\u00e9riaux de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence, etc.), un seuil technique de 0,1&nbsp;% est appliqu\u00e9 aux \u00e9v\u00e9nements OGM non approuv\u00e9s. Ceci est particuli\u00e8rement important pour les importations qui ne sont pas toujours exemptes de contamination par des OGM, ni de ma\u00efs ou de soja sans OGM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">D\u00e9tection quantitative des OGM<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour les \u00e9v\u00e9nements OGM respectivement approuv\u00e9s, il est n\u00e9cessaire de d\u00e9terminer quantitativement si le produit se situe au-dessus des valeurs seuils d\u00e9finies ou des valeurs d\u2019\u00e9tiquetage obligatoires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En Europe, une valeur de 0,9&nbsp;% est appliqu\u00e9e aux \u00e9v\u00e9nements OGM de la matrice de la plante concern\u00e9e. En dessous de cette valeur, les denr\u00e9es alimentaires pr\u00e9sentant des contaminations techniquement in\u00e9vitables et co\u00efncidant avec des \u00e9v\u00e9nements OGM n\u2019ont pas besoin d\u2019\u00eatre d\u00e9clar\u00e9es (CE 2829\/2003 et CE 2830\/CE). La d\u00e9termination est effectu\u00e9e par quantification du g\u00e8ne sp\u00e9cifique \u00e0 l\u2019OGM et du g\u00e8ne sp\u00e9cifique \u00e0 la matrice de la plante, selon des courbes d\u2019\u00e9talonnage diff\u00e9rentes l\u2019une de l\u2019autre, et par conversion en nombre de copies d\u2019ADN de la plante&nbsp;\/ matrice OGM. Cette unit\u00e9 sans dimension multipli\u00e9e par 100 donne le pourcentage.
