Il est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement utilis\u00e9 parmi d\u2019autres aromates dans les aliments \u00e0 base de viande, les saucisses, les sauces ou les soupes instantan\u00e9es et peut \u00eatre pr\u00e9sent en faible quantit\u00e9 dans des aliments pr\u00e9-cuisin\u00e9s. Toutes les parties de la plante \u2013 feuilles, tiges et tubercule \u2013 peuvent \u00eatre utilis\u00e9es pour pr\u00e9parer des aliments. Les \u00e9minences du c\u00e9leri et du persil \u00e9tant tr\u00e8s semblables, une confusion peut se produire au moment de la r\u00e9colte et du traitement, entra\u00eenant un risque de contamination crois\u00e9e.
