In questi casi la contaminazione avviene attraverso il contatto con soggetti infetti, per esempio gli addetti alla lavorazione.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I cibi contaminati da virus possono causare infezioni che possono andare da sindromi diarroiche a epatiti gravi. Risultano particolarmente a rischio di contaminazione i cibi lavorati a mano e non trattati prima del consumo. Il mezzo di diffusione principale di questa malattia sono l\u2019acqua potabile (cubetti di ghiaccio compresi), gli alimenti contaminati (soprattutto molluschi, ostriche, frutta e ortaggi) e il contatto diretto con soggetti infetti.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"block-tabs__content  tab-virusestab1-2\"><p>L\u2019epidemia di peste avicola (nota anche come influenza aviaria o HPAI), causata dal virus H5N8, ha riportato l\u2019influenza al centro del discorso pubblico. I sottotipi di virus dell\u2019influenza pi\u00f9 importanti sono H5, H7 e H9. Anche se non tutti i sottotipi sono pericolosi per gli esseri umani, molti di essi sono la causa di malattie anche gravi del pollame e dei suini e possono portare quindi a danni economici rilevanti. \u00c8 quindi fondamentale svolgere analisi per l\u2019identificazione dei diversi virus dell\u2019influenza.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"block-tabs__content  tab-virusestab1-3\"><p>I norovirus sono responsabili del 90 % delle gastroenteriti non batteriche perch\u00e9 in grado di sopravvivere in ambienti di ogni tipo. Le strutture comunitarie come ospedali e case di riposo sono particolarmente soggette a epidemie di gastroenteriti causate da norovirus, con conseguenze anche gravi. I sintomi principali sono vomito, diarrea e nausea. Le malattie da norovirus possono colpire in qualsiasi momento dell\u2019anno, ma sono stati osservati aumenti del numero di infezioni nei mesi invernali (\u201cvirus del vomito invernale\u201d). Il contagio pu\u00f2 avvenire per via diretta, da soggetto a soggetto, o tramite mezzi contaminati come superfici, oggetti, cibi (molluschi, frutta e ortaggi) e acqua.
