La quantit\u00e0 di patulina presente nei prodotti a base di mele \u00e8 generalmente considerata come indice della qualit\u00e0 delle mele utilizzate durante il processo produttivo. La patulina pu\u00f2 essere contenuta nel succo di mela, nella salsa di mela, nella purea di mela, negli alimenti per l\u2019infanzia e nel sidro di mela.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In molti Paesi vigono restrizioni per la quantit\u00e0 di patulina nei prodotti a base di mela. Sono dunque di particolare importanza la sensibilit\u00e0 dei metodi e la preparazione dei campioni. Nelle matrici complesse la rilevazione della patulina pu\u00f2 essere ulteriormente alterata da altri componenti interferenti. EASIMIP\u2122 PATULIN utilizza una procedura basata su una tecnologia MIP (Molecularly Imprinted Polymers) che consente di condurre test specifici e sensibili in maniera semplice e rapida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le colonne contengono un polimero specifico per la tossina da rilevare. Dopo l\u2019estrazione della tossina il campione viene centrifugato, filtrato e applicato su tutte le colonne MIP. Tutte le tossine presenti nel campione vengono legate nella colonna dal polimero. La colonna viene poi lavata per eliminare il materiale depositatosi su di essa, quindi la tossina viene disciolta per eluizione con un solvente per MIP. L\u2019eluato viene raccolto prima dell\u2019analisi con HPLC. L\u2019estrazione e la procedura di pulizia durano complessivamente circa 45 minuti. Il risultato \u00e8 una migliore purificazione e concentrazione della tossina dai campioni alimentari e quindi un cromatogramma molto pi\u00f9 chiaro.
