R-Biopharm offre sistemi analitici per la rilevazione di ormoni e steroidi, sia naturali sia sintetici.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gli ormoni sono messaggeri biochimici endogeni che vengono trasportati agli organi bersaglio tramite la circolazione sanguigna. Oltre agli ormoni sessuali naturali, anche steroidi sintetici e beta-agonisti possono essere impiegati negli allevamenti per migliorare l\u2019incremento ponderale medio e il rapporto carne\/grasso. La diffusione di pratiche scorrette o illegali pu\u00f2 portare alla presenza di residui potenzialmente pericolosi nei cibi di origine animale, come la carne e il latte. Inoltre, l\u2019immissione tramite letame di principi attivi ormonali nelle acque di superficie e sotterranee pu\u00f2 modificare l\u2019equilibrio degli ecosistemi acquatici. Al di fuori dell\u2019Europa, per contro, molte autorit\u00e0 locali considerato privo di rischi l\u2019utilizzo di ormoni e anabolizzanti come agenti ingrassanti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Androgeni<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Si definiscono androgeni gli ormoni steroidei, naturali o sintetici che siano, in grado di stimolare o controllare lo sviluppo e il mantenimento delle caratteristiche maschili mediante il legame con i recettori androgeni. Questo gruppo include il testosterone, di origine naturale, e numerose molecole sintetiche. La carne e il latte di animali trattati con androgeni possono contenerne residui, identificabili tramite i nostri sistemi analitici.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"acf-block block-tabs block-hormonestabs1\"><div class=\"block-tabs__menu\"><button onclick=\"openTab(event, 'tab-hormonestabs1-1',  'block-hormonestabs1')\" class=\"block-tabs__title active \">Testosterone<\/button><button onclick=\"openTab(event, 'tab-hormonestabs1-2',  'block-hormonestabs1')\" class=\"block-tabs__title  \">Metiltestosterone<\/button><button onclick=\"openTab(event, 'tab-hormonestabs1-3',  'block-hormonestabs1')\" class=\"block-tabs__title  \">19-nortestosterone<\/button><button onclick=\"openTab(event, 'tab-hormonestabs1-4',  'block-hormonestabs1')\" class=\"block-tabs__title  \">Trenbolone<\/button><\/div><div class=\"block-tabs__area\"><div class=\"block-tabs__content active tab-hormonestabs1-1\"><p>Il testosterone \u00e8 un ormone steroideo naturale in grado di stimolare lo sviluppo e il mantenimento delle caratteristiche maschili. A causa del suo utilizzo illegale come agente ingrassante per bovini, la legge tedesca impone, nel contesto del piano di controllo dei residui, un limite di rilevazione tramite HPLC-SP e GC\/MS nel plasma bovino inferiore a 0,1 \u03bcg\/kg. A questo scopo viene utilizzato l\u2019economico ed efficiente test RIDASCREEN ELISA, che vanta un limite di rilevazione pari a 0,02 \u03bcg\/kg. Il tempo di incubazione di sole 2 ore e 30 minuti permette di ottenere risultati in brevissimo tempo.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"block-tabs__content  tab-hormonestabs1-2\"><p>Gli effetti anabolizzanti del metiltestosterone (17-alfa-metiltestosterone) sono paragonabili a quelli del testosterone, un ormone sessuale maschile di origine naturale. Il metiltestosterone \u00e8 un ormone steroideo sintetico utilizzato illegalmente, proprio come il testosterone, come agente ingrassante nell\u2019allevamento dei bovini. Viene inoltre utilizzato nell\u2019acquacoltura per invertire il sesso dei pesci e ottenere cos\u00ec popolazioni di soli maschi, pi\u00f9 economicamente efficienti. Il sistema analitico ELISA offre ad agenzie governative e laboratori un metodo rapido ed economico per l\u2019identificazione del metiltestosterone; per la conferma si utilizzano invece metodi fisico-chimici come HPLC e GC\/MS. Nella maggior parte dei Paesi dell\u2019UE si utilizza l\u2019urina come matrice per la rilevazione della presenza di etinilestradiolo e altri steroidi anabolizzanti.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"block-tabs__content  tab-hormonestabs1-3\"><p>Lo steroide anabolizzante 19-nortestosterone \u00e8 uno dei promotori della crescita pi\u00f9 diffusi. I suoi effetti anabolizzanti sono paragonabili a quelli del testosterone, seppur meno androgenici. In Germania \u00e8 permesso l\u2019utilizzo di 19-nortestosterone-decanoato e -laureato in specifiche applicazioni veterinarie. Purtroppo, il 19-nortestosterone trova diffusissimo utilizzo come agente dopante negli sport professionistici e nell\u2019equitazione. Risale invece a qualche anno fa la segnalazione dell\u2019utilizzo di miscele illegali contenenti 19-nortestosterone-estere come ingrassanti nell\u2019allevamento dei bovini. La presenza di 19-nortestosterone endogeno \u00e8 stata rilevata in particolare nei suini e nelle vacche gravide.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"block-tabs__content  tab-hormonestabs1-4\"><p>Il trenbolone \u00e8 uno steroide anabolizzante molto efficiente, con una forte attivit\u00e0 androgena. I suoi residui non hanno evidenziato alcuna attivit\u00e0 genotossica. Invece, se somministrato in alte concentrazioni, il trenbolone induce trasformazioni cellulari in test aventi per substrato cellule embrionali di criceto siriano e risulta leggermente positivo al test di Ames. Il trenbolone viene somministrato sotto forma di estere coniugato (per es. trenbolone acetato) per aumentarne l\u2019emivita; le lipasi del plasma separano poi il gruppo estere dal trenbolone. L\u2019utilizzo di questa molecola per aumentare la crescita muscolare e l\u2019appetito dei bovini da allevamento \u00e8 proibito in tutta l\u2019UE. I sistemi ELISA permettono di testare velocemente grandi quantit\u00e0 di campioni in una gamma di matrici diverse.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Estrogeni<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Gli estrogeni sono ormoni sessuali femminili che svolgono un ruolo fondamentale in numerosi processi fisiologici dell\u2019apparato riproduttore, come l\u2019ovulazione, la fertilizzazione, l\u2019annidamento dell\u2019embrione e la lattazione; possono essere prodotti artificialmente e vengono utilizzati nei trattamenti medici. Alcuni estrogeni svolgono anche funzione di steroidi. Il latte e la carne degli animali trattati con questi ormoni possono contenerne residui, facilmente identificabili grazie ai nostri sistemi analitici.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"acf-block block-tabs block-hormonestabs-2\"><div class=\"block-tabs__menu\"><button onclick=\"openTab(event, 'tab-hormonestabs-2-1',  'block-hormonestabs-2')\" class=\"block-tabs__title active \">Dietilstilbestrolo (DES)<\/button><button onclick=\"openTab(event, 'tab-hormonestabs-2-2',  'block-hormonestabs-2')\" class=\"block-tabs__title  \">17-beta-estradiolo<\/button><button onclick=\"openTab(event, 'tab-hormonestabs-2-3',  'block-hormonestabs-2')\" class=\"block-tabs__title  \">Etinilestradiolo<\/button><button onclick=\"openTab(event, 'tab-hormonestabs-2-4',  'block-hormonestabs-2')\" class=\"block-tabs__title  \">Zeranolo<\/button><\/div><div class=\"block-tabs__area\"><div class=\"block-tabs__content active tab-hormonestabs-2-1\"><p>Il dietilstilbestrolo (DES) e il diidrodietilstilbestrolo appartengono al gruppo degli stilbeni, steroidi anabolizzanti estremamente efficienti e dalla forte attivit\u00e0 estrogena. Il DES favorisce l\u2019aumento ponderale e l\u2019efficienza nella conversione degli alimenti degli animali destinati alla produzione di carne (bovini, pollame e agnelli). Dal 1986 l\u2019utilizzo di farmaci anabolizzanti a questi scopi \u00e8 vietato in Europa, principalmente a causa delle propriet\u00e0 cancerogene del DES. L\u2019analisi degli steroidi anabolizzanti avviene mediante metodi fisico-chimici: l\u2019HPLC e il GC\/MS. Lo screening viene effettuato tramite saggi immunologici come il RIA e l\u2019EIA.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"block-tabs__content  tab-hormonestabs-2-2\"><p>Il 17-beta-estradiolo \u00e8 un ormone sessuale naturale, presente in volumi molto ridotti nel plasma del sangue periferico dei bovini. Nei vitelli se ne contano non pi\u00f9 di 1-2 pg\/ml, nelle vacche in estro 1-5 pg\/ml. Questi livelli si innalzano notevolmente solo nel plasma di animali gravidi o trattati illegalmente con agenti anabolizzanti (da 100 a 1.000 pg\/ml).<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"block-tabs__content  tab-hormonestabs-2-3\"><p>L\u2019etinilestradiolo \u00e8 un ormone sessuale sintetico il cui utilizzo come agente ingrassante, similmente a quello di tutti gli ormoni steroidei, \u00e8 vietato in Europa dal 1988. Per identificarne eventuali abusi consigliamo l\u2019utilizzo di test analitici basati sul protocollo ELISA. Nella maggior parte dei Paesi dell\u2019UE si utilizza l\u2019urina come matrice per la rilevazione della presenza di etinilestradiolo e altri steroidi anabolizzanti.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"block-tabs__content  tab-hormonestabs-2-4\"><p>Lo zeranolo \u00e8 un agente estrogenico anabolizzante (alfa-zearalanolo) derivato dalla micotossina zearalenone e utilizzato per incrementare l\u2019aumento del peso vivo e l\u2019efficienza nella conversione del cibo dei ruminanti. Tuttavia, il suo utilizzo come agente ingrassante \u00e8 vietato nell\u2019UE. Questo composto sintetico denota un\u2019attivit\u00e0 estrogenica pari a tre volte quella dello zearalenone. Oltre ai suoi effetti anabolizzanti, lo zeranolo pu\u00f2 causare disturbi tipici dell\u2019iperestrogenismo, in particolare fertilit\u00e0 ridotta e disturbi dello sviluppo. Non risulta dunque impossibile che la presenza di residui di zeranolo negli alimenti possa porre un rischio per la salute dei consumatori.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Gestageni<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>I gestageni (o progestinici) sono ormoni sessuali femminili appartenenti al gruppo degli ormoni steroidei. Vengono utilizzati come promotori della crescita per gli animali da allevamento. La carne e il latte di tali animali possono quindi contenere residui di gestageni, facilmente individuabili grazie ai nostri sistemi analitici.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"acf-block block-tabs block-hormonestabs-3\"><div class=\"block-tabs__menu\"><button onclick=\"openTab(event, 'tab-hormonestabs-3-1',  'block-hormonestabs-3')\" class=\"block-tabs__title active \">Acetilgestageni<\/button><button onclick=\"openTab(event, 'tab-hormonestabs-3-2',  'block-hormonestabs-3')\" class=\"block-tabs__title  \">Melengestrolo acetato<\/button><\/div><div class=\"block-tabs__area\"><div class=\"block-tabs__content active tab-hormonestabs-3-1\"><p>Il medrossiprogesterone acetato (MPA), il 17\u03b1-acetossiprogesterone, il megestrolo acetato e il clormadinone acetato appartengono al gruppo degli acetilgestageni. Gli acetilgestageni sono noti per aumentare l\u2019efficienza nella produzione del bestiame e venivano utilizzati in passato nella produzione di miscele per l\u2019ingrassamento dei vitelli. Alcuni studi hanno dimostrato che picchi di concentrazione di acetilgestageni residui si possono osservare nel tessuto adiposo. L\u2019MPA, per esempio, pu\u00f2 essere riscontrato nel plasma solo alcuni giorni dopo il trattamento, ma non pu\u00f2 essere rilevato con precisione nelle urine. Si possono riscontrare alte concentrazioni di MPA non metabolizzato nel tessuto adiposo di vitelli trattati anche dopo 19 giorni.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"block-tabs__content  tab-hormonestabs-3-2\"><p>I gestageni sintetici vengono utilizzati per inibire l\u2019estro, sincronizzarlo dopo una pausa o in generale incrementare la fertilit\u00e0. L\u2019utilizzo di una in particolare di queste sostanze, il promotore della crescita melengestrolo acetato (MLGA), somministrato tramite premiscela per alimenti, \u00e8 approvato negli Stati Uniti e in Canada in dosi fino a 0,5 mg al giorno per capo. Le basi della sua azione anabolizzante non sono ancora state identificate, ma si sa che \u00e8 in grado di stimolare la sintesi ovarica dello steroide anabolizzante endogeno estradiolo e che potrebbe avere effetti collaterali androgenici. La sua bioattivit\u00e0 orale \u00e8, rispettivamente, 10 e 100 volte pi\u00f9 elevata di quella dei gestageni clormadinone acetato (CMA) e medrossiprogesterone acetato (MPA). Se somministrato per vie parenterali, la sua attivit\u00e0 ormonale rimane circa 125 volte pi\u00f9 elevata di quella del progesterone. A causa delle sue propriet\u00e0 lipofile, l\u2019MLGA si accumula nel grasso in quantit\u00e0 200 volte pi\u00f9 elevate che nel plasma ematico. Nell\u2019Unione Europea l\u2019uso di ormoni sessuali come promotori della crescita \u00e8 proibito dal 1988, cos\u00ec come l\u2019importazione di animali trattati con ormoni.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Beta-agonisti<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>I beta-agonisti sono derivati sintetici degli ormoni naturali catecolamine e vengono utilizzati come farmaci. Il latte e la carne degli animali trattati con questi ormoni possono contenerne residui. I beta-agonisti sono in grado di incrementare l\u2019efficienza degli allevamenti su scala industriale, in particolare il rapporto tra carne e grasso negli animali da ingrasso e la velocit\u00e0 del loro sviluppo; il loro utilizzo in questo senso \u00e8 per\u00f2 vietato nell\u2019UE. Oltre ai loro effetti lipolitici e anabolizzanti, i beta-agonisti hanno un effetto rilassante sui tessuti muscolari striati e possono quindi essere utilizzati a scopi antiasmatici e tocolitici. \u00c8 possibile che la presenza di residui di beta-agonisti, introdotti con pratiche illegali, ponga un rischio per la salute dei consumatori; il loro utilizzo nella produzione di cibo \u00e8 stato quindi proibito.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"acf-block block-tabs block-hormonestabs-4\"><div class=\"block-tabs__menu\"><button onclick=\"openTab(event, 'tab-hormonestabs-4-1',  'block-hormonestabs-4')\" class=\"block-tabs__title active \">Clenbuterolo<\/button><button onclick=\"openTab(event, 'tab-hormonestabs-4-2',  'block-hormonestabs-4')\" class=\"block-tabs__title  \">Ractopamina<\/button><\/div><div class=\"block-tabs__area\"><div class=\"block-tabs__content active tab-hormonestabs-4-1\"><p>Il clenbuterolo appartiene al gruppo dei beta-agonisti. Rispetto al suo utilizzo in campo medico, se impiegato come agente ingrassante viene somministrato in dosi 5-10 volte superiori. \u00c8 possibile che la presenza di residui di clenbuterolo, introdotto con pratiche illegali, ponga un rischio per la salute dei consumatori.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"block-tabs__content  tab-hormonestabs-4-2\"><p>La ractopamina appartiene al gruppo dei beta-agonisti.
