New screening method for the quantification of β-agonists

A fast and simple screening method for the detection of ß-agonists was developed by R-Biopharm AG: RIDASCREEN® ß-Agonists (Art. No.: R1704).

Compared to the available RIDASCREEN® Clenbuterol tests the new system has a 100 % cross reactivity towards clenbuterol and salbutamol. RIDASCREEN® ß-Agonists is a competitive enzyme immunoassay suitable for sensitive detection of ß-Agonists residues in urine, serum, meat and feed. Urine and serum samples can be used directly into the test. For meat and feed samples simple and fast extraction methods were designed. Assay results are available within 60 min.
