De bepaling is mogelijk voor alle wateroplosbare vitaminen.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"block-tabs__content  tab-vitaminblock1-2\"><p>EASI-EXTRACT\u00ae immunoaffiniteitkolommen maken monstervoorbereiding en vitamineconcentratie van complexe matrices mogelijk v\u00f3\u00f3r de analyse door HPLC of LC-MS\/MS. Deze kolommen zijn verkrijgbaar voor de vitaminen foliumzuur, vitamine B12 en biotine.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"block-tabs__content  tab-vitaminblock1-3\"><p>RIDASCREEN\u00ae ELISA-testen maken kwantitatieve analyse van enkelvoudige toegevoegde vitaminen (foliumzuur, vitamine B12 en biotine) mogelijk met een antigeen-antilichaamreactie en evaluatie door middel van een microtiterplaatfotometer en de RIDASOFT\u00ae Win.NET.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Het gebruik van vitaminen in voeding en wettelijke bepalingen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Om te zorgen voor een adequate vitaminetoevoer voor het publiek, worden voeding, diervoeder en farmaceutische producten vaker verrijkt met vitaminen. Dit wordt gewoonlijk gedaan door voormengsels aan het product toe te voegen door mengen of sproeien. De basis van de analyse is om te controleren of de wettelijke bepalingen worden nageleefd en of het vermelde vitaminegehalte inderdaad in het product zit en of marketingclaims van de producenten gerechtvaardigd zijn. De beschikbaarheid van analytische methoden die snelle en accurate resultaten leveren wanneer het vitaminegehalte van producten wordt getest, is daarom absoluut noodzakelijk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Op 22 november 2011 werd de levensmiddeleninformatie-verordening (LMIV) in het offici\u00eble nieuwsblad van de EU gepubliceerd. De nieuwe verplichtingen om over bepaalde ingredi\u00ebnten te informeren, is in de nieuwe publicatie opgenomen. Het vitaminegehalte dat op het etiket staat vermeld moet overeenkomen met dat aan het eind van de minimale houdbaarheidsperiode in voeding, diervoeder en farmaceutische producten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Volgens aanbevelingen van de GDCh (Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker), is de tolerantie voor de vitaminen van groep&nbsp;3 (vitamine A, D, E, foliumzuur, vitamine B12 en biotine) maximaal 30&nbsp;% van het aangegeven gehalte, en is de tolerantie voor de vitaminen van groep&nbsp;2 (vitamine B1, B2, B6, pantotheenzuur, niacine en vitamine C) 20&nbsp;% van het aangegeven gehalte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Daarom is het noodzakelijk dat zowel fabrikanten alsook toezichthoudende instanties de vitaminegehaltes controleren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Achtergrondinformatie over vitaminen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Vitaminen versterken het immuunsysteem, helpen het lichaam om andere voedingsmiddelen te benutten, vormen een aanvulling op enzymen, ontgiften het organisme en verlagen de kans op een hartinfarct. Ze zijn essentieel voor onze energieproductie en be\u00efnvloeden metabolismereacties zonder te veranderen. Zelfs lage vitaminegehaltes hebben een substantieel effect. Toch kan er onder bepaalde omstandigheden een vitaminedefici\u00ebntie optreden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vitaminen zijn aanwezig in voeding en voedingsmiddelen van plantaardige en dierlijke oorsprong. Ze zijn verdeeld in twee basisgroepen: in vet oplosbare vitaminen en in water oplosbare vitaminen. De vetoplosbare vitaminen worden in het lichaam opgeslagen, wat in het gunstigste geval kan leiden tot voorraadopslag, zodat voortdurende aanvulling mogelijk niet nodig is. Dit voordeel kan echter leiden tot gezondheidsproblemen. De wateroplosbare vitaminen, aan de andere kant, worden over het algemeen niet in het lichaam opgeslagen maar worden snel na consumptie verwijderd. Bijgevolg is een regelmatige inname van deze vitaminen noodzakelijk. Alleen vitamine B12 kan in de lever worden opgeslagen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Er zijn in totaal 13&nbsp;vitaminen, waarvan er vier&nbsp;in vet oplosbaar zijn (A, D, E en K ) en de andere in water oplosbaar zijn (vitaminen van de B-groep en vitamine C). Omdat het lichaam niet in staat is om de meeste van deze essenti\u00eble organische bestanddelen te synthetiseren, is het van essentieel belang de vitaminen in te nemen. Vitamine D is echter een uitzondering, omdat het lichaam deze zelf in de huid kan vormen bij zonlicht. Deze kan niet door het menselijk lichaam worden geproduceerd en moet daarom met de voeding worden ingenomen. Het lichaam heeft slechts kleine hoeveelheden vitamine B12 nodig, maar deze vitamine speelt een belangrijke rol in het zenuwstelsel, heeft een beschermend effect op het hartvaatstelsel en speelt een belangrijke rol in de nucleotidenbiosynthese, de absorptie van ijzer en het metabolisme van aminozuren. Een gebrek aan vitamine B12 kan pernicieuze anemie en neurologische klachten veroorzaken.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"block-tabs__content  tab-vitaminblock2-2\"><p>Biotine (ook bekend als vitamine B7 of vitamine H) is een belangrijke voedingsfactor en een diervoeder-additief. Biotine komt van nature voor in melk, zuivelproducten, eieren, havervlokken en noten, om er enkele te noemen. Het is erg belangrijk voor het metabolisme van mens en dier, omdat het als co-enzym betrokken is bij belangrijke processen als de gluconeogenese, de biosynthese van vetzuren en het metabolisme van aminozuren. Een biotinedefici\u00ebntie zorgt voor remming van de groei in zoogdieren, verlies van eetlust en een slecht gebruik van voedingsstoffen, bijvoorbeeld door veranderingen in de darmflora. In het gevorderde stadium manifesteert avitaminose zich door haarverlies, dermatitis en verlammingsverschijnselen. De biotinebehoefte van volwassenen ligt tussen 30 en 60 \u00b5g biotine per dag.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"block-tabs__content  tab-vitaminblock2-3\"><p>Foliumzuur (vroeger bekend als vitamine B9 of vitamine B11) behoort tot de groep van wateroplosbare vitaminen. Deze kan niet door het menselijk lichaam worden geproduceerd en moet daarom met de voeding worden ingenomen. Voorbeelden van bronnen van foliumzuur zijn groene bladgroenten, gist, tarwekiemen en volkorenproducten, om er enkele te noemen. Foliumzuur speelt een belangrijke rol in alle groei- en celdelingsprocessen in het lichaam. Voldoende inname van foliumzuur tijdens de zwangerschap is belangrijk, bijvoorbeeld om defecten van de neurale buis te voorkomen. In sommige landen bestaan overeenkomsten om brood, granen, meel, rijst en andere graanproducten te verrijken met verschillende concentraties foliumzuur om de vitaminestatus van de bevolking te verbeteren.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"block-tabs__content  tab-vitaminblock2-4\"><p>Niacine (ook bekend als vitamine B3) behoort tot de groep van wateroplosbare vitaminen. Lage concentraties van deze vitamine kunnen door het menselijke lichaam worden aangemaakt via het aminozuur tryptofaan, maar grotere concentraties moeten via de voeding worden ingenomen. Niacine komt primair voor in voedingsmiddelen als gevogelte, vis, schimmels en zuivelproducten. De vitamine speelt een belangrijke rol in het metabolisme van koolhydraten, vetten en eiwitten. Een niacinedefici\u00ebntie kan veranderingen in de huid en ontsteking van de slijmvliezen van de mond en het maagdarmkanaal veroorzaken.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"block-tabs__content  tab-vitaminblock2-5\"><p>Pantotheenzuur (ook bekend als vitamine B5) behoort tot de groep van wateroplosbare vitaminen. Deze kan niet door het menselijk lichaam worden geproduceerd en moet daarom met de voeding worden ingenomen. Tot de voedingsmiddelen die pantotheenzuur bevatten, behoren vooral lever, nier, volkorenproducten, fruit, groenten, melk en vlees. Vitamine B5 speelt een belangrijke rol in de afbraak van co-enzym A en is betrokken bij de aanmaak van koolhydraten en vetten. Een tekort aan pantotheenzuur kan vermoeidheid, immunodefici\u00ebntie en depressie veroorzaken.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"block-tabs__content  tab-vitaminblock2-6\"><p>L-ascorbinezuur (ook bekend onder de naam vitamine C) wordt niet alleen gebruikt als vitamine maar ook als antioxidans en conserveermiddel in de voedingssector. Bij mensen met een tekort aan vitamine C kan zich scheurbuik ontwikkelen. Aangezien vitamine C in voeding gedeeltelijk wordt omgezet in het biologisch actieve L-dehydroascorbinezuur, moeten beide stoffen in een testsysteem worden bepaald. De VitaFast\u00ae Vitamin C test (L-ascorbinezuur) (artikelnr. P1010) kan worden gebruikt om vitamine C in voeding te detecteren.  Deze uitgebreid gevalideerde test is een gemakkelijk uit te voeren enzymatische test in microtiterplaatformat voor de kwantitatieve analyse van vitamine C (L-ascorbinezuur) in voeding, farmaceutische producten en andere monstermaterialen. De test maakt de belangrijke analyse van het totale gehalte aan vitamine C (L-ascorbinezuur + L-dehydroascorbinezuur) mogelijk.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"block-tabs__content  tab-vitaminblock2-7\"><p>Inositol wordt vaak gevonden in voeding, diervoeder en farmaceutische producten. Vroeger werd het gecategoriseerd als behorend tot het vitamine-B-complex (als vitamine B8). In het metabolisme is inositol een belangrijke bouwsteen van verschillende signaaloverdrachtsmoleculen en vetten. Omdat inositol geen essenti\u00eble bouwsteen is maar in het metabolisme uit glucose kan worden geproduceerd, staat het nu bekend als een vitamineachtige stof. Inositol is een hexavalente cyclische alcohol en heeft negen isomeren, die dezelfde moleculeformule C6H12O6 hebben. De meest natuurlijke isomeer is myo-inositol. Het gehalte aan inositol in voeding wordt gedeeltelijk geregeld door wetgeving, indien inositol is toegevoegd. In energiedranken is er een wettelijk gespecificeerde bovengrens van 200 mg\/l (\u00a7 4 para. 2 FrSaftErfrischGtrV [Fruit juice and soft drink regulation]).
