Intended use
Enzytec™ Pyruvate is a UV assay for the determination of Pyruvate in foodstuff and other sample materials.
General Information
Pyruvate to lactate with simultaneous oxidation of NADH to NAD.
The decrease of absorbance of NADH, is directly proportional to the pyruvate concentration in the sample.
Using the standard contained in the kit it is possible to prepare a Calibration Curve to refer.
Plotting on the Calibration Curve absorbance values and concentration for each single sample, may be determined the concentration of each sample.
