Lateral flow tests
Lateral flow tests combineren een compleet op antilichamen gebaseerd testsysteem op een enkelvoudige membraanstrip en maken het mogelijk diverse analyten in slechts enkele minuten te detecteren.
LFD’s (Lateral Flow Device) zijn immunochromatografische rapid test strips. Net als bij andere immunologische testen is de testmethode gebaseerd op een antigeen-antilichaamreactie. Om de analyse uit te voeren steekt de gebruiker de teststrip in het vloeibare monster. Als de analyt in het monster aanwezig is, wordt na 5 minuten een gekleurde lijn op de teststrip zichtbaar. Met deze visuele evaluatie is een kwalitatieve en semi-kwantitatieve analyse mogelijk. Met een LFD-reader kunnen de teststrips ook kwantitatief worden geanalyseerd. Naast de snelle resultaten en de gemakkelijke uitvoering onderscheiden lateral flow tests zich door de lage kosten en de hoge validiteit.
De gemakkelijk te hanteren RIDA®QUICK rapid tests van R-Biopharm zijn een geschikte en snelle optie voor de analyse van mycotoxines en allergenen. Deze veelzijdige teststrookjes zijn voor diverse analyten verkrijgbaar en zijn voor veel matrices gevalideerd. Voor efficiënt allergeenmanagement kunnen de RIDA®QUICK-allergeentesten ook worden gebruikt als swabtest. Een kwalitatieve en semi-kwantitatieve analyse wordt uitgevoerd met visuele evaluatie, voor eenvoudige uitvoering zonder afleesapparatuur. De RIDA®QUICK mycotoxinetesten kunnen ook kwantitatief worden geanalyseerd met behulp van een digitale reader (bijv. RIDA®QUICK SCAN) of de nieuwe en innovatieve RIDA®SMART APP. Deze handige smartphone-app gebruikt de uitstekende technologie van moderne smartphones om lateral flow test strips op een snelle en accurate wijze te analyseren, en voor een zeer competitieve prijs.

De testen die door R-Biopharm AG worden aangeboden, bieden een instrument waarmee de gebruiker twee belangrijke doelen kan bereiken: in de eerste plaats de naleving van de wettelijk voorgeschreven standaarden controleren en op de tweede plaats de vermijding van financieel verlies dankzij systematische analyse van voedingsmiddelen, grondstoffen en diervoeder.
