Intended use
The SureFast® Clostridium perfringens PLUS is a real-time PCR for the direct, qualitative detection of a specific alpha-toxin DNA sequence of Clostridium perfringens.
Each reaction contains an internal amplification control (IAC).
General Information
The real-time PCR assay can be performed with commonly used real-time PCR instruments, equipped for detection of two fluorescence emissions at the channels FAM and VIC/HEX at the same time. The technical verification of instruments was performed on Agilent Mx3005P, Agilent AriaDx, Applied Biosystems 7500, Bio-Rad CFX96, LTF MyGo, R-Biopharm RIDA®CYCLER, Roche LightCycler® 480 II, Roche cobas® Z 480 Analyzer and Qiagen Rotor-Gene Q.
