Intended use
SureFast® Hepatitis E PLUS is a real-time RT-PCR for the direct and qualitative detection of hepatitis E virus.
The test contains an Internal Control RNA (ICR, consisting of MS2-bacteriophage) as an internal control of sample preparation procedure and to determine possible PCR-inhibition.
General Information
The real-time RT-PCR assay can be performed with commonly used real-time PCR instruments, equipped for detection of two fluorescence emissions at the channels FAM and VIC/HEX at the same time. The internal technical verification of instruments was performed on Agilent Mx3005P, Applied Biosystems 7500, Bio-Rad CFX96, Qiagen Rotor-Gene Q, Roche cobas® z 480 Analyzer, and Roche LightCycler® 480 II.
