Intended use
The SureFood® ALFALFA is a real-time PCR for the direct, qualitative detection of a specific alfalfa (Medicago sativa) DNA sequence in food and feed.
General Information
The real-time PCR assay can be performed with commonly used real-time PCR instruments, equipped for detection of two fluorescence emissions at the channels FAM and VIC/HEX at the same time. The internal technical verification of instruments was performed on Roche LightCycler® 480 II, Qiagen Rotor-Gene Q, Bio-Rad CFX96 Dx, Bio-Rad CFX OPUS 96, R-Biopharm RIDA®CYCLER and Agilent AriaDx.
