Intended use
The SureFood® GMO ID 4plex Soya III is a multiplex real-time PCR kit for the direct, qualitative detection and differentiation of following specific genetically modified soya DNA sequences:
– FG72 soya (OECD unique identifier MST-FGØ72-2)
– DAS68416 soya (OECD unique identifier DAS-68416-4)
– GMB151 soya (OECD unique identifier BCS-GM151-6)
– DAS44406 soya (OECD unique identifier DAS-444Ø6-6)
This kit can be used for the screening of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in food, feed and seeds. The detections are according to the validated method of the European Commission.
General Information
The real-time PCR assay can be performed with commonly used real-time PCR instruments, equipped for detection of four fluorescence emissions at the channels FAM, VIC/HEX, ROX and Cy5 at the same time. The technical verification of instruments was performed on Roche LightCycler® 480 II, Bio-Rad CFX96 Dx, R-Biopharm RIDA®CYCLER and Agilent AriaMx.

No. S1053) is recommended. SureFood® PREP Add On (Art. No. S1055) is intended to be used for the extraction of DNA from raw materials as well as processed food and feed with sample weight of 2 g. It is used in conjunction with the SureFood® PREP Basic. |
| LOD (Detection Limit) | The SureFood® GMO ID 4plex Soya III real-time PCR has a limit of detection of < 5 DNA copies. This is equivalent to approx. 0.01 % for unprocessed soybean. |
