Intended use
The test detects the relative quantitative T25-Corn DNA amount.
Therefore the kit contains two PCR systems, one specific for the T25-Corn (OECD unique identifier ACS-ZMØØ3-2) and the other one specific for Corn (reference system). The event-specific detection of T25-Corn is according to the validated method of the European Commission.
General Information
The real-time PCR assay can be used with established real-time PCR instruments. The technical validation of instruments was performed on Agilent Mx3005P, Agilent Aria Dx, BioRad CFX 96, Roche LightCycler® 480 II, Roche cobas Z 480 Analyzer, Applied Biosystems 7500 and Qiagen Rotor-Gene Q.

| LOD (Detection Limit) | The T25-Corn PCR has a limit of detection of ≤ 5 DNA-copies. The assay limit of detection depends on sample matrix, processing grade, DNA-preparation and DNA-content. The limit of quantitation depends on the concentration of the sample DNA used in the analysis. For example, if 50,000 target-sequence copies of Corn specific reference gene are present, the relative quantitation limit for T25-Corn DNA is 0.1 %. |
