EuroProxima Florfenicol is a competitive enzyme immunoassay for the screening and quantitative detection of florfenicol in different commodities.
General Information
Florfenicol is an effective broad-spectrum antibiotic and an analogue of chloramphenicol. Due to the ban of the use of chloramphenicol in food-producing animals, florfenicol is used to control infections in humans, pigs, poultry, non-ruminating cattle and aquaculture. Within the EU, Maximum Residue
Limits (MRLs) for florfenicol have been established.
The EuroProxima Florfenicol ELISA is a competitive enzyme immunoassay based on monoclonal antibodies directed against florfenicol.
