Intended use
The SureFood® ALLERGEN 4plex EU NUTS is a multiplex real-time PCR for the direct, qualitative detection and differentiation of
- almond (Prunus dulcis),
- cashew (Anacardium occidentale),
- pistachio (Pistacia vera),
- peanut (Arachis hypogaea),
- hazelnut (Corylus avellana),
- walnut (Juglans regia),
- pecan (Carya illinoinensis),
- brazil nut (Bertholletia excelsa) and
- macadamia (Macadamia tetraphylla)
ccording to directive (EC) 1169/2011 in food.
General Information
The real-time PCR assay can be performed with commonly used real-time PCR instruments, equipped for detection of four fluorescence emissions at the channels FAM, VIC/HEX, ROX and Cy5 at the same time. The technical verification of instruments was performed on Agilent AriaDx, Bio-Rad CFX96Dx, R-Biopharm RIDA®CYCLER, Roche LightCycler® 480 II and Qiagen Rotor-Gene Q.
