Phosphate buffered saline tablets suitable for Mycotoxin analysis (HPLC).
General Information
These PBS-Tablets are prepared by dissolving 1 tablet in 100 ml of dictilled / deionised water (suitable for use with HLPC, e.g. MilliQ). The pH should be 7.4.
PBS Preparation Method =
Potassium dihydrogen phosphate 0.2 g/L
Disodium hydrogen phosphate anhydrous 1.16 g/L
Potassium chloride 0.2 g/L
Sodium chloride 8 g/L
The final buffer should be pH 7.2 to 7.4 and should be stable for 2 weeks at 2 – 8 °C. Thimerasol, which is a preservative, can be added at a concentration of 0.1 g/L to make the solution stable for 18 months at 2 – 8 °C.
