Intended use
The SureFast® Animal+Plant Control 3plex real time PCR controls the DNA-preparation. In addition a differentiation between the DNA of vertebrates and plants in food is possible. The test contains an Internal Control DNA (ICD) as an internal control of sample preparation procedure and to determine possible PCR-inhibition.
General Information
The real-time PCR assay can be used with established real-time PCR instruments, equipped for detection of three fluorescence emissions at 522 nm, 553 nm and 670 nm (FAM, VIC/HEX and Cy5) at the same time. The technical validation of instruments was performed on Roche LightCycler® 480 II, Qiagen Rotor-Gene Q, Bio-Rad CFX96Dx, Bio-Rad CFX96 Opus, Agilent AriaDx, and R-Biopharm RIDA®CYCLER.
