Intended use
The test detects the relative quantitative RoundupReady2 Yield-Soya DNA amount (RR2Yield-Soya).
Therefore the kit contains two PCR systems, one specific for the RR2Yield-Soya (OECD unique identifier MON-89788-1) and the other one specific for Soya (reference system). The event specific RR2Yield-Soya detection is according to the validated method of the European Commission.
General Information
The real-time PCR assay can be used with established real-time PCR instruments (Agilent Mx3005P, BioRad CFX96, Roche LightCycler®480 II, Qiagen Rotor-Gene Q and Applied Biosystems 7500 etc.).

| LOD (Detection Limit) | The RR2Yield-Soya PCR has a limit of detection of ≤ 5 DNA-copies. The assay limit of detection depends on sample matrix, processing grade, DNA-preparation and DNA-content. The limit of quantitation depends on the concentration of the sample DNA used in the analysis. For example, if 50,000 target-sequence copies of Soya specific reference gene are present, the relative quantitation limit for RR2Yield-Soya DNA is 0.1 %. |
