Histamine detection in fish and fish meal
Test kit easy to use and rapid
Fish and fish meal can be easily analysed to histamine with the new test system RIDASCREEN® Histamin (enzymatic). Test gives reliable and robust results, AOAC-RI is in preparation. the fish sample The fish sample is extracted in boiling water and centrifuged afterwards.
The test procedure is very simple consisting of only three pipetting steps.Histamine is an indicator of rotting fish. Histamine detection with RIDASCREEN® Histamin (enzymatic)
RIDASCREEN® Histamin (enzymatic )(Art. No. R1605) is advantageous over other methods in terms of handling time and costs. It’s an enzymatic test in microtiter plate format for the quantitative determination of histamine in fish and fish meal. The kit contains all reagents in a ready to use format. The fish sample is extracted in boiling water and afterwards centrifuged. The test procedure is very simple consisting of only three pipetting steps. The results are calculated using the RIDA®SOFT Win.net (use version 1.88 or newer for calculation). RIDASCREEN® Histamin (enzymatic) also contains a spiking solution for validation. The test system gives reliable and robust results (AOAC-RI in preparation).
