The SureFood® GMO ID 4plex Soya IV is a multiplex real-time PCR for the direct, qualitative detection and differentiation of following specific genetically modified soya DNA sequences:
This kit can be used for the identification of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in food, feed and seeds.
The detections are according to the validated method of the European Commission.
The real-time PCR assay can be performed with commonly used real-time PCR instruments, equipped for detection of four fluorescence emissions at the channels FAM, VIC/HEX, ROX and Cy5 at the same time. The technical verification of instruments was performed on Roche LightCycler® 480 II, Qiagen Rotor-Gene Q, Bio-Rad CFX96 Dx and R-Biopharm RIDA®CYCLER.

Sample preparation
For DNA-preparation of raw material the use of SureFood® PREP Basic (Art. No. S1052) and for highly processed food and feed the use of SureFood® PREP Advanced (Art. No. S1053) is recommended.
LOD (Detection Limit)
The SureFood® GMO ID 4plex Soya IV real-time PCR has a limit of detection of < 5 DNA copies. This is equivalent to approx. 0.01 % for unprocessed soybean.
