RIDA® Ochratoxin A column
Art. No.: R1303
Product info
Intended use
RIDA® Ochratoxin A column are immunoaffinity columns for sample clean up prior to analysis of Ochratoxin A in food and feed.
General Information
RIDA® Ochratoxin A column are usable in combination with the enzyme immunoassays RIDASCREEN® Ochratoxin A 30/15 (Art. No. R1312) and RIDASCREEN®FAST Ochratoxin A (Art. No. R5402) for the quantitative determination of Ochratoxin A. The sample preparation with the immunoaffinity columns simplifies and enhances the sample clean up procedure. Pure extracts are obtained, which can be analyzed by different analytical methods.

Sample preparation | The samples should be stored in a cool place, protected against light. Ochratoxin A is light sensitive, therefore, avoid exposure of the samples and sample extracts to direct light. |
LOD (Detection Limit) | Depending on sample volume applied and on detection method. |
Validated matrices | Food and feed. |
Detected analyte | Ochratoxin A in food and feed. |
Available application notes | Further application notes for RIDASCREEN® Ochratoxin A 30/15 (Art. No. R1311) in combination with RIDA® Ochratoxin A column (Art. No. R1303) are available on request: for green and roasted coffee, for wine, for dried fruits. Please contact your local distributor. |
Evaluation | In order to obtain the ochratoxin A concentration in ng/kg actually contained in a sample the concentration read from the calibration curve has to be multiplied by the corresponding dilution factor. The immunoaffinity columns are only suitable for sample clean-up. For the evaluation the RIDASCREEN® Ochratoxin A 30/15 (Art. No. R1312) and RIDASCREEN®FAST Ochratoxin A (Art. No. R5402) are required for the quantitative determination of Ochratoxin A. |
