Intended use A competitive enzyme immunoassay for screening and quantitative analysis of medroxyprogesterone acetate (MPA) in bovine kidney fat.
General Information Medroxyprogesterone acetate (MPA) can be used as an illegal growth promoter in meat production. Due to its lypophylic characteristics MPA is concentrated in fat samples. The MPA ELISA is a competitive enzyme immunoassay (ELISA) for the detection of MPA in fat samples.
