Intended use
The test detects horse DNA (Equus caballus) and donkey DNA (Equus asinus) seperately. Each reaction contains an internal amplification control and an internal detection assay for animal DNA (IAAC).
General Information
The real-time PCR assay can be used with established real-time PCR instruments, equipped for detection of three fluorescence emissions at 522 nm, 553 nm and 670 nm. The technical validation of instruments was performed on Roche Roche LightCycler® 480 II, Roche cobas z 480 Analyzer, Qiagen Rotor-Gene Q, Applied Biossystems 7500, Bio-Rad CFX96, BMS MIC, Agilent AriaDx and Agilent Mx3005P.
