The test detects pork (Sus scrofa), chicken (Gallus gallus) and turkey (Meleagris gallopavo) DNA. Each reaction contains an internal amplification control and an internal detection assay for vertebrates DNA (IAAC).
The real-time PCR assay can be used with established real-time PCR instruments, equipped for detection of four fluorescence emissions at 522 nm, 553 nm, 610 nm and 670 nm (FAM, VIC, ROX and Cy5) at the same time. The technical validation of instruments was performed on Roche LightCycler® 480 II/ Roche cobas z 480 Analyzer*, Qiagen Rotor-Gene Q, Applied Biosystems 7500, Bio-Rad CFX96, Agilent Mx3005P and Agilent AriaDx.
*note: A Color Compensation is necessary for users oft the Roche LightCycler® 480 II and the Roche cobas z 480 Analyzer. For the Color Compensation of such devices the SureCC Color Compensation Kit I (Art. No. F4009) must to be used.
