Intended use
The SureFast® VEGAN real time PCR is a highly sensitive system for the detection of traces of vertebrate-DNA and differentiation between DNA of vertebrates and plants in food. The Positive Control correspondents to 0.1% vertebrate-DNA.
Insects, arachnids, molluscs and crustaceans are not detected by this system.
General Information
The real-time PCR assay can be performed with commonly used real-time PCR instruments, equipped for detection of two fluorescence emissions at the channels FAM and Cy5 at the same time. The technical verification of instruments was performed on Roche LightCycler® 480 II, Qiagen Rotor-Gene Q, Bio-Rad CFX96Dx, Bio-Rad CFX Opus, R-Biopharm RIDA®CYCLER, Agilent AriaDx.
